Grew this from seed labelled as a Daphne, but I don't think its a Daphne. Seedlings are identical. Plants are several years old now. Yes, its an evergreen. Has not yet flowered even though plants are over a meter tall.

Oh, thank you! No, the plants are not in the garden but in large pots in the greenhouse. I didn't want to plant them out until I knew what they were as we have deer (plural).
Shrubs over 1 m tall will not be happy in a pot...unless each is in a huge pot. That is probably why you haven't had any flowers yet.
Yeah, they're in deep 14 inch pots in good soil. I look forward to their flowers. The plant itself looks very desirable.
