These two plants are growing in a garden, but the owners don't know what they are. The first is a mint of some kind. It has a minty odor, hairy square stems, and opposite leaves. I have no idea what the other one is.

I'm not sure, the central vein seems to be way too visible for it to be Lamium orvala. I think it may be Perilla frutescens.
