Hi, This plant was collected in central Tunisia. After flowering, when the plant begins to dry, it becomes totally red! Any ideas? Thanx
Compare against this list of medicinal plants of Tunisia. I would lean toward Hypericum perforatum, except some of the material in the first photograph looks a bit off. If you see a living plant of it, pick a leaf and hold it up to the sun to see if the leaf has little holes in it (i.e., it is perforated).
