Malvaceae.

    I took these photographs 3 years ago and I still haven't identified the plant. It is not Malva sylvestris/officinalis because the petals are not lobed. When I took the photographs I had very little experience of the requirements for plant ID. Hence the lack of photographs of the capsules.

    Looks like Lavatera (syn. Malva) punctata
