Not sure what you mean by wild teasel. My teasel looks just like yours but I couldn't get a good picture because it's about 8 feet tall. I do know these are considered to be invasive so I'm careful not to let it go to seed.
When you say 'wild teasel' I think you must mean Dipsacus fullonum. At first I thought you knew of a tame teasel. Teasel - Invasive Species Council of British Columbia
