Can someone please help me identify this small yellow flower I found lakeside in the Bristol Bay area of Alaska the last week in July this year? It's about 1.5 cm in diameter.

No leaves? Best guess is a Ranunculus based on the lustre of the petals and the clavate stamens, but there are very few Ranunculus species in Alaska with fewer than 5 petals. Ranunculus hyperboreus is one of these, but it doesn't look like a good match.
