Hi, in 2018 I bought some lily bulbs online and they ended up being my favorite plant around our house. Since then we have moved to Texas and I bought what I thought were same bulbs, “salmon party lily”. Turns out the salmon party flowers are huge. The ones I had in Seattle had small flowers (a couple inches diameter), but they had the same colors as the salmon party. Does this look familiar to anyone? I’m dying to plant some here.

You are showing an Alstroemeria. Use that name when looking for additional information.

I could be wrong about this, but I think your photo shows Alstroemeria, common name Peruvian Lily, a plant in the Alstroemeriaceae family. When I query "salmon party lily", I get Lilium oriental 'Salmon Party', a plant in the Liliaceae family, which does have larger flowers. Common names can be so confusing because so often the same name is used for different plants.

Wow you are correct! Once I searched some different websites for Peruvian lily I found it, Inca Ice it’s called. Thank you so much

It's funny - I have never heard them called "Peruvian lily". They seem to always be sold as "Alstroemeria" here.

Alstroemeria are common in Vanc as cheap long lasting floral filler

and incredibly invasive in the garden —- I regret every moment I thought it was a good idea

It must have been in the 1990s when Alstroemeria became extremely popular in the Lower Mainland (maybe other areas too, but I don't know). A friend gave me some stems to plant but, as it turned out, there weren't any roots attached. Lucky me. It didn't take too many years before gardeners began to realize that alstroemerias, beautiful as they were, were too much of a good thing.
