Light purple trumpet flower on hugh bush. Any one know what it is?

    This large leaf bush is in San Antonio Texas. It was growing out of a large stump that looked like it had been cut completely back maybe last "winter." It was maybe 8 or 9 feet tall and just as wide. It had many of the light purple flowers but didn't notice any seed pods. Next time I'll pay more attention and take better pics. Thank you.

    It is supposed to be a bush and not a vine, but it does look like a Convolvulaceae.
