Hello to any and all who can help me find the name for this common flowering plant found all over northern California. I am a botanical neophyte and have asked many people for the name of this one, without success. One person suggested 'speedwell' but it does not match. Please enlighten me. Thanks. Mick E.
How about Echium candicans, Pride of Madeira. There is a beautiful planting of it at the north end of the Golden Gate Bridge.
