Is this Banksia?

    A friend asked me if I knew this flower. I thought it was a Protea relative, and came to the conclusion it might be Banksia speciosa? Yes or No?

    Is it just a painted/dyed purple version since they are normally yellow or orange?
    Any info would be appreciated. It was purchased at a florist in SK.

    the leaves do look right for Banksia.
