For quite some time I have catalogued these photographs to be uploaded as Alkanna tinctoria! Now I am having doubts about the accuracy of my ID. I would be most grateful if a member/members could confirm whether I was right, or wrong!
Could this be Buglossoides purpureocaerulea, see Buglossoides purpurocaerulea [Erba perla azzurra]? Please also check the closely related species from the same genus.
Hi Robert, Thank you for replying to my thread. I already have Buglossoides purpureocaerulea in my photographic archive. The 2 species are very similar. I will compare the photographs of the 2 species.
