Is it iris?

    A friend of mine took these photos of suspicious iris.
    To me, it looks like Neomarica but it doesn't look like any Neomarica that I could find on the internet. Or is it something else?
    Can anybody help me identify this flower?

    Would have the falls-and-standards flower structure if it were an iris.

    Looks very like Aristea ecklonii. Hope this helps.

    Thanks Ron and Luddite!!

    It really is Aristea ecklonii. It is just available in the plant market in Thailand this year.
    As usual, the sellers don't have any idea about the scientific name!! They just call it Iris :)

    Delighted to help. The one in our garden is flowering right now. Inspite of the most appalling foul wet, windy summer that we are experiencing in the south west of the U.K
