Inflorescences of small yellow flowers

    In the Stanley Park Rhody Garden, right next to the Phlomis that I learned last month, are now (or last week were) these plants with inflorescences of yellow flowers, individual flowers 2cm in diameter. Some of the leaves are opposite, but some look whorled, at least in the photo.

    Thanks, Lila. That's discouraging. I can recognize Lysimachia punctata (well, I didn't know the species name before just now), but I didn't associate this one with that genus at all. Now I see there are a dozen or so loosestrifes, some quite different-looking. I'm glad I asked, and thanks for answering.
