    Hi

Spent the day at a local garden, and have been trying to ID this flower. Have never seen anything like them before. The plant itself stands about 5ft high, each flower is about 6" across. The gardens norm put tags on the plants so you can tell what they are, but this one didn't have one.

    Any ideas anyone?

ahh yes I think that may be it. Didn't realize they got that large. Ones I have norm seen have been smaller white ones.

"Ones I have norm seen have been smaller white ones." I wonder if you are thinking of callas, rather than cannas?

I had the same thought. Small white cannas are far from usual.

I suspect the OP was thinking Calla rather than Canna.
