A friend in Montreal has asked me to help her identify a climbing plant that is in her garden. I have tried various sources without results. The plant is a twining vine of some sort with a hand like leaf with approximately 13 fingers. The leaves are about one to one and a half inches across. There are no flowers or berries. It is growing to the left of a Morning Glory in the photo that I have attached. Any help would be much appreciated.
Looks like cypress vine, Ipomoea quamoclit or cardinal climber, Ipomoea × multifida or Ipomoea sloteri.
