Thank you so much - Ive been trying to find out for ages. Do you know anything about Medinilla? Mine has leaves that are turning brown at the edges and curling up though others=wise the plant does not seem to be dying as it is still putting out new leaves?

With plants in general such can be physiological leaf burn from hot dry winds or other causes, fertilizer burn from over-fertilizing, or heavy mite infestation.

Hmmm likely to be hot dry winds as we live in the Caribbean - I don't think I can re-locate it as it doesn't want full sun - will the wind burn eventually kill it? I am sure it doesn't have mites.

First you have to figure out what the exact problem is.
