    Hello,
I’d like some help identifying this tree.

    Location: Langley, BC

In the late spring there are clusters of small white flowers which eventually turn in to small blackish berries. In winter the when the leaves are gone only the larger branches remain. All the small branches that the leaves were attached to also drop to the ground. It's a pretty messy tree and I’m trying to figure what it’s name is and how to prune the darn thing.

    thanks
