My husband bought me a bouquet for Valentines and the greenery was this plant . I rooted it successfully and just wanted to know what it is.
    Thanks, Regena

Looks a bit like what I have left of a Strelitzia Reginae (Bird of Paradise flower).

    Thanks Steanie for you answer.
I am still not sure what it is but I think I have some real good ideas.
Any one else care to take a guess?
As I posted It was something used as just greenery in a bouquet of lilies.
It had a large stem so I decided to try and root it, and it did.

I agree Cordyline however I think it's now called C. fruticosa.

Actually, Cordyline terminalis is still the correct name for the plant.

Using the name Cordyline fruticosa for this plant is not valid because it is a later homonym. The same name was previously used for something else and is no longer accepted.

There are thousands of cultivars of C. terminalis out there.
