   Hi there, I found this plant while cleaning out my mom's flower bed. It's a shrub of some sort that had tiny red flowers ad about 3' high. It was growing in full afternoon sun if that helps any. TIA

   Persicaria virginiana (Variegata Group) 'Painter's Palette' I think. Looks like the one growing at UBCBG.
