I spotted this whilst walking the Sandy Cross conservation area just outside Calgary on June 14th.
I think it is Anemone multifida or A. saxicola. Look at E-Flora BC Atlas Page to see if you can tell.
Thank you - there were some other white anemones too.
I was curious and came across this on a wild plant nursery website

Colours mentioned are white, pink and wine red. My is a beautiful soft yellow.
