location: zone 7 looks like a dandelion one year old sunny location no blossoms noticed yet is it a cultivated dandelion?

thanks silver surfer, it looks exactly like the photos for a milk thistle - I wished I had it, it's in a relative's garden, where it self seeded - this was a quick id - great!
