This grows in our pastures and comes in both orange and yellow colors. I was told it is milkwort, but when I google it I don't really find anything that looks the same. Are these the same plant, just different colors? I would like to put a scientific name with it. Thanks for the help.

    Might be Polygala nana.

Thank you. I am very new to plant identification and am confused about this plant. The yellow one looks very much like Polygala nana , but the closest I can find to the orange one is Polygala lutea . Because they are both Polygala, does that mean they are both milkworts, but the yellow is called candyroot and the orange is called orange milkwort?

The orange one could be Polygala lutea, sometimes called orange milkwort, even though lutea means yellow. P. nana is sometimes called candyroot because the root is sweet. Don't let common names confuse you, they can vary from place to place.
