thanks very much for the pics link . Yes the flowers I knew ..but before it becomes that size I am looking at the green stuff growing as per pic and wonder if that is a baby or not?
my soil is shop bought mixed with some black oranic soil ... I will do more sand next time but they had ample drainage holes in the bottom .. thanks for your time

Plant in the left-hand pic is Procumbent Pearlwort Sagina procumbens (a weed).

If you're meaning kniphofia (most common 'red hot poker' around Vancouver), then no, you don't have any showing yet. They'll look like thick blades of grass when they start to sprout.

mmmmh thanks so much well than thats it...i think I ripped out a few stems that looked like common grass as I thought they are weeds growing in my seedling pots :-) one more lesson in gardening..
Do you know anything about sewing grass I have Tricolor Zebra grass and I wanted to grow some more in other areas then where it is multiplying ...I collected I THINK what was seeds then
    but nothing grew at all.
WHEN to collect the seeds ( do you have any VISUAL support on who the top must look when its ready to cut?)
    and how to sew it.
I thought it needs light and I just mixed it on top of my seedling pots with a food fork but NOTHING happened...
Thanks so much for your help.
