    Good day,

I received this plant one year ago. This summer it has bloomed. The flower took about two weeks to mature to its current state. It is a heliotrope, and I must admit follows quite well. I would like to identify the plant. Any help would be appreciated.

It is a very striking flower.

    Thanks for your help

    David

I assume you mean your plant is a "heliotrope" in that the flower turns to face the sun? (Note: "Heliotrope" is also a plant name.)

Your plant is a scabiosa, probably Scabiosa caucasica.
