Can anyone identified this (cultivated?) flower? Ruby-throated hummingbird in Shreveport, Louisiana 9/18/21. thanks in advance for any help
Asclepias, common name milkweed. I don't know them enough to know the species name. There are a few with similar colouring, and we're not seeing much of the leaves in this photo (but a great shot of the hummingbird!). There are some listed here: Asclepias (Milkweed) (gardenia.net)
