I recently acquired this small plant and have no idea what it is. the leaves appear to be shades of green speckled with shades of yellow or white. The "stems" are stick-like, the leaves grow along it in pairs. And it has this odd little ball at the tip of one such "stem". It seems to like shade and little water, but I cannot be sure. Any ideas?

    Gold-dust dracaena (Dracaena godseffiana).

Only too true! ---And the g.d. dracaena looks NOTHING like other dracaenas. I had one for years and thought that it was a croton...until I saw one here on the Forum. I was flabbergasted!
