Please help me identify this flowering shrub!

See picture. It has just bloomed in the last week (late May - Richmond, VA). They (I have more than one) are 4 foot high shrubs. The flowers are VERY fragrant and smell very sweet. They have 6 petals and very prominent pistols.

I'm not good with flowers at all, so it might be very common! Please forgive me! :o)

They're shrubs planted by the former owner. They bloom yearly at this time.

Please let me know if more details are needed!

A common one like this is 'Kleim's Hardy'.
