Help w/ a type of tree.

Hello, I'm trying to figure out what kind of tree this is. When I bought my house it was here and already bloomed, but now it's been 2 seasons and it hasn't really done anything. Not sure if it's dying or sick, and not sure how to help it b/c I don't know what it is. lol Hope someone here can help me out! :)

 

It looks like Salix caprea Kilmarnock. Common name Kilmarnock willow. However I would have expected to see some catkins on it. The rest of the year it is just green.

Thanks. And yes, it should have been sprouting something, but I think it's not well.

 

Whatever it is, if it has looked like this for two years it is dead.
