Me and one of my friends were walking around the nature trails when we came across this really pretty plant. I've tried looking through the internet to identify it, but I don't know that much about plants.

    Description..

The flowers were a very light color of pink and looked like a star.
The flower petals were thin and pointed though.
Beneath the flower was a bulb, i'm assuming a seed pod or something like that.
The petals were sturdy and tough, not thin and delicate.
The flowers were in a big round bulb like cluster at the top of the plant, like globes.
The leaves were huge, and thick with a fury coating. I didn't touch those though so I don't know how rough or soft they were.
I think there were like 4 leaves in a row and they connected right to the stem.
they pointed up as well and were rounded and broad.
They basically hid the stem completely.
We picked a flower off of it and it left a sticky residue on our hands.
I tried to smell it.. but I have a cold and smelt nothing. My friend told me it smelt nice... but I didn't smell anything.. :(

I wish I could post a picture, But I didn't take one. I'll go back this week and take a picture of it. But does anyone have a clue as to what this plant might be? \
