I edited your post to add the images you sent me in conversation. This isn't poison ivy, but rather box elder or Manitoba maple. The photo with more of the plant distinctly shows the leaves (comprised of three leaflets) coming off the stems directly opposite from one another, which occurs in maples but not in poison ivy. It looks like maybe the tree had been cut to the ground in a previous year and these are the regrowth?
