As I was taking pictures of the amazing collection of plants in the Botanical Gardens this past week, I tried to take a picture of the tag associated with the plant. Unfortunately, I have the wrong tag associated with four species and am looking for help identifying these plants. Your help is greatly appreciated.
#1 Astrantia major, similar to 'Shaggy', 2 not sure , maybe Philadelphus, 3 Rodgersia of some kind ?, 4 and 5 Kalmia latifolia.
Yes, I did mean the UBC Botanical Garden. However, someone did indeed respond to my thread. I appreciate your response though. I have also enjoyed the daily photos I receive. They're great. Do any of the photographers list camera settings for these images?
Ok -- just wanted to know if you wanted more specifics on any of the plants. I see they're identified to genus, but not species. As for the BPotD images - sometimes, if you follow the links back to the Flickr photographs, the metadata will be captured with the image upload. However, I generally don't post camera specs, as it's a bit of a slog when you're dealing with a volume of images (and ties me to posting from home).
