In The Garden: Help indentify these please!

    Hello fellow gardeners and plant specialists!

    I have two unknown, odd looking plants growing out of my carrots and cantaloupe, and hopefully you kind ladies and gentlemen can help me figure out what they are.

    The one that doesn't look like a carrot head.

    It's the tall one sticking out, behind the cantaloupe and pumpkin.

    I live in Northern California by the way, oh and if you need better photos I'd be more than happy to take more!
