Wildflowers: help identifying plants

    Hello! I found these plants (flowers?) right next to the beach in San Pedro, California. They have sort of bubbles with what it seems to be liquid inside that makes them shine with sunlight. I would like to their name and everything. Thank you!

    Looks like these red-green heads contain seeds inside. The flowers with multiple white linear petals are seen in the background in the first and second picture.

    Found it:

    Mesembryanthemum crystallinum

    Thank you so much! They seem to be quite common now that I looked them up. They are invasive according to the california invasive plant council xD but pretty! The bubbles are epidermal bladder cells where it stores salt and seeds and the flowers open only during the day and close at night.
