A friend came across this in a field and we're curious as to what it is. Where: Michigan When: August 12th It was near a wetland but there are also fields and light forest. This was in a cluttered mix. From my searches there are only a few wild vine plants in Michigan but it doesn't look like any of them in any stage.
My first thought also. With the forked stem and Flower/Fruit in the center, looks like a fallen Mayapple plant.
