    A Juda Tree perhaps? Don't think so.....
    The attached Pic was taken in Jeruselam, Israel.

    It's kinda hard to see...could be Jacaranda mimosifolia.

    Yes looks like jacaranda alright, these are commonly planted around my area as roadside trees.
