Hello tree: Visitors to Jericho email their thoughts to weeping willow, crabapple and paper birch

We had a thread about a tree in Boston tweeting daily information about itself. The project reported on the front page of today's Vancouver Sun, actually happened last year, in which people could email trees and receive replies from civic historian and heritage consultant John Atkin, UBCBG's own horticulturalist Egan Davis, poet Rahat Kurd and Indigenous herbalist Lori Snyder. The news is that the results are now being displayed in large posters at the Roundhouse in Yaletown and in smaller posters at some other community centres.
