I bought this plant at a supermarket for a bargain price because it was unidentified and had stopped blooming. I could tell from the remains of a bloom that remained that it was a nice shade of blue/purple, and there were several tiny buds, so I thought I would be able to identify it when it bloomed again. I still have no idea what it is and have checked a number of garden books and catalogs. At first glance, it resembles a Platycodon, but the buds are not at all balloon-like. The leaves are opposite and have a slightly dry, leathery feel. If this is hardy in zone 5, I need to get it into the ground quickly. If it's tender, I'll try to overwinter it indoors.

I believe you have Eustoma grandiflorum, otherwise known as Lisianthus. I don't believe it's hardy.
