My boyfriend and I planted a bunch of grape seeds. We think they are coming up, but we are not sure.

Right now they are dicots. At what point do the dicots become something that's recognizable?

After they have budded and opened their first two or three true leaves, it becomes possible to ID them.

When I planted red globe grape seeds a few years ago, I planted them on Feb 27, by March 9 they had their first true leaves. Here are some photos if you are interested.

The photos were taken on March 5, then March 9, then April 6 - 2006.

Thank you. I look again last night and I can start to see a real leaf popping through. Thanks for the pictures.
