Anyone recognize these? They were growing just outside the Strybing Arboretum at the San Francisco Botanical Garden. Disregard all foliage, it's from other plants. Thanks!!
Fruits and raches certainly suggest Solanum, but it's not one I've ever seen before. Hopefully someone else here recognizes it....
Tom a photo of the fruiting plant's leaf would help... I have never seen a solanum with sword fronds or palmate leaflets?
What about Elaeocarpus grandis, Blue Marble Tree? I just saw this at Lyon Arboretum in Honolulu. It was marked as being from Australia.
Definitely Dianella. The branching pattern of the inflorescence and the recurved pedicels are characteristic. You would need to see other features of the plant to identify the species.
