Garden flowers in Ecuador

    I would appreciate some ideas on these two flowers. They were in the Ecuadorean rainforest, actually in the garden of the Napo Wildlife Center - so they are cultivated and could have come from far away.

    The second is Russelia equisetiformis. A photo of the foliage and general plant structure would have been helpful, and would have appeared strikingly different from the surrounding foliage by anyone photographing it.

    First plant is tickling my mind. Someone else will come along and ID it, or maybe I'll come up with it at an inconvenient time as usual.

    Well, that didn't take long... Caesalpinia of some sort.
