I recently discovered a very large tree with berries on it that taste and look like blackberries. The tree is about 20-25 feet tall and is absolutely covered with berries that look exactly like blackberries, shape, size and taste. I have never seen anything like it. I am familiar with blackberries as they grow wild all over the property. However, of course, they grow on small shrubs with thorns. This tree has no thorns, has large glossy green leaves and, as I said, is 20-25 feet tall. There are berries on the limbs from the ground to the top of the tree. Does anyone have any idea what it is. I tasted one berry reluctantly and was surprised to find that it tastes like blackberries..
Might it be a Mulberry? Morus alba? http://images.google.com/images?q=m...1I7SUNA_en-GB&um=1&ie=UTF-8&sa=N&hl=en&tab=wi
