    Definitely a "Colchicum".

I think, however, given that it is growing in an alpine meadow, that it has narrow tepals and the leaves are not present when it is in flower, that it is actually the closely related Merendera montana. To be sure you need a sideways look. In Merendera, the tepals are separate to the base, whereas in Colchicum they are joined at the base into a tube before flaring out.
