Can anyone please help me identify this Fritillaria species. I grew it from seed and the label has vanished. The whole plant stands about 18" high, slender and elegant with glaucous leaves. The flowers are a deeper colour than in the plotograph, appearing almost mahogony on the exterior and the interior is a deep golden yellow, the flowers are about 2 1/2" long, it's a real beauty! The are pretty tough as the pots have been outside all winter and the pots froze. Thanks in hopes.
Looks like; Fritillaria affinis chocolate lily; checker lily.. A native plant, here in the Pacific Northwest.
Thanks NiftyNiall, I had a feeling it may be that one, but it's the deep golden yellow interior that's throwing me.
