I found this tree today with no fruit on it. I need to identify it. I think that it is Fraxinus nigra. I checked it against the genera in Juglandaceae and it does not fit. Can anyone help confirm that I have correctly identified this specimen? Does anyone know of a black ash lookalike in the Laurentian forests of Eastern Canada?

    Thank You!
