Flowering plant identification - Santos, Brazil

    Please help identify this lovely flower. It was cultivated in the beach gardens/park in Santos, Brazil.

    Looking through google images shows a lot of variants. I couldn't find any with the leaves like this one.

    Definitely a cleome; that one looks very similar to the ones that grow in the Amazon basin here in Ecuador.
