Flower in Manning Alpine (August 18th)

    I've got a flower that I thought I knew what it was and now I think I'm wrong. What do you think this is?

    You'll have better luck looking for Silene suksdorfii - Joe missed an i, but then again, he's never been very boastful (i.e., not talking about himself all the time... I this... and I that...).

    What a difference one little "i" makes! There are good images online - Washington State U - and now I feel comfortable with the identification! Thanks a lot Joe and thanks Daniel for the help!
