Wildflowers: Flower Identification

    I found this flower in a woodland area in Illinois. I would like to know what kind it is. The only part not visible in the picture is the one single stem, resembling that of a lily.

    Maybe Lycoris squamigera, resurrection lily.

    Probably a volunteer from a garden or abandoned homesite.
    You should move it to a sunny location when it's finished flowering.
