Flower Id help needed

    Early this summer I visited Glacier NP in Northwest Montana. I photographed a pink daisy in a ditch. I have sent the photos to experts from the state but no one can ID. My guess is that it is from some mix and was stuck to someone's shoe. I have attached the image in question. Any help would be appreciated.

    heh, heh. It's almost certainly an Aster. but there are lots of Aster species in the West US. and many closely related 'daisies'.

    your unidentified plant looks like painted daisy (pyrethrum) they also come in red,white and rose colors.i have them in my zone 5 perennial garden.the red ones are a favorite.i believe i got the seed from parks or thompson & morgan.
