    The bumble bee is Brown Belted Bumble Bee [Bombus grisecollis]

    I follow Karl Gercens on Facebook - he's the Conservatory Manager at Longwood Gardens outside of Philadelphia.
    He just posted a photo of flowers like these: Facebook. He called it Celosia argentea var. spicata, essentially what @pierrot said.
