Wildflowers: flower from Bryce Canyon

    This blue/purple flower was observed at Bryce Canyon N.P. third week of June. Originally, I thought it was blue or lewis flax but the leaf appears wrong. It is always possible that the leaves observed do not go with the plant but I am pretty sure that is not the case. What is it?
